While saving a file.

But the program keeps working (and the file is saved).

Jean, please provide a screenshot of the error you are seeing. Also, is this a large file you are saving? Is it a workfile?

Oh and also provide the EViews version and build date -- you can get this info by going to the Help menu/About EViews dialog.
