Errors with X12 seasonal adjustment

Postby penps » Sat Apr 15, 2017 5:04 pm

When I run X12 seasonal adjustment in Eviews 9 and select ARIMA Spec from file, it always reports error as below:

Line 9: file="c:\progra~2\eviews~1\x12a.mdl"

ERROR: Argument name "file" not found

Line 10: method=best

ERROR: Argument name "method" not found

Line 11: identify=all

ERROR: Argument name "identify" not found

I tried to re-install eviews 8 and the problem remains.
Is it due to incompatability with win 10?
I have never encountered such problem before when I use Eviews 7 and 8 in systems older than win 10.

While Gareth is off having a snack of cawl, let me interrupt to suggest that you might want to do the free upgrade to version 9.5 and see if that fixes the problem. (It's a nice upgrade anyway.)

I update to Oct 17 2016 Build, but the errors remain.
