I have been away from this forum for a while. But, open exploring Eviews 8, I had to come back and extend my heartfelt congratulations to the team for a great release – and thanks to the support professionals for incorporating at least my own requests of the last two years. When Eviews 7 was launched, I complained on these forums that much bigger changes were made (the add-ins etc.), but simple stuff such as annotating on graphs with arrows or interactively changing the time period captured by a graph were not possible. I am happy to say now that almost all my requests – graph annotation, slider for time horizon, enhanced dated data tables, spreadsheet editing capabilities – all in the domain of database and graphics management, have been incorporated into Eviews 8. Congratulations again, and many thanks to the team!
