Hi guys, below is the output I get when I draw the scatterplot of 2 variables against each other and the red line is the regression line, I got the regression line by going to: Quick -> graph -> scatter -> under details I clicked on options -> then picked regression line.
Now I was wondering how do I draw a regression line through the scatter plot but with NO intercept term, ie, forcing it to pass through the origin. I've been reading the user's guide and playing around myself for ages but can not find an option to do so.
Thank you guys so much!

Re: Regression line for Scatter Plot with NO intercept term
I believe the best you can do is
1. Run the regression.
2. Get the fitted values.
3. Add the fitted values to the scatter diagram.
4. Change the graphing options to show the fitted values with a line rather than symbols.

Re: Regression line for Scatter Plot with NO intercept term
Hi, thanks for the help, I am quite new to Eviews7, I was wondering if you could run me through how to do steps 2-4.
I have run the regression without an intercept by going to quick -> equation estimation -> typed in my dependent and independent variables without the "c" term -> Now I am on the estimation output page shown below:
How exactly do I then do the last 3 steps?
Thanks so much yet again!

Push the forecast button and choose a name for the forecast series, say yfit.
Open a group with rainfall zh4tage yfit - in that order.
Choose graph/scatter and then look under options to change symbols to a line.

Thank you so much startz, I got it, it looks just how I wanted it to.
Cheers again!
