french title with accent in a graph

Hello,
I would like, in a program, to manage the title for severals graphs in a "For loop". I have created a string variable per graph and in my "For loop", I use the "addtext" proc to place it. But the problem is, the command doesnt' accept the accentued symbol and puts in the graph the letters until the first accentued symbol.
Do you have a solution, please let me know ?
