Timberlake Consultants, official distributor of EViews and GOLCER would like to invite you to attend the following three-day course to be held at Lancaster University Management School, Lancaster, UK on the 15 - 17 December 2010.

The course will be delivered by Dr Marwan Izzeldin from the Lancaster University school of Management and GOLCER and will use EViews 7.1 Enterprise in the practicals. Delegates are also encouraged to bring in thier own data in Excel format.

Course Overview
This is a three-day training course, whose aim is to demonstrate how the toolkit offered by the econometric package EViews can be employed for conducting empirical research. The course provides a thorough coverage of the data analysis, estimation and forecasting facilities offered by EViews, focusing on both time series and panel data techniques, and addressing both theoretical and practical aspects of the topics considered. The sessions organised during the three days will be 'hands on' and interactive, focusing on applications from the fields of finance and macroeconomics. In addition to presenting the menu-driven facilities of EViews, the course will also offer a primer in programming in this package. The course will have a taught element to ensure that the participants are familiar with the theoretical background.
