Internal Error 504 504
I can't open one of my previous files, and am getting the above error message. Can you help me resolve please?

I should say that I have searched for this issue elsewhere and can confirm its not a version-ing error, I'm using the same install of the same version now that I was when I last saved that file.

It's possible your file has been corrupted somehow.
Did you try opening the backup or snapshot file? The backup file should be in the same folder, but instead of ".WF1", it has a ".~F1" extension. Or if you have snapshots turned on, you can look for a hidden folder in the same directory (folder name is <your filename>_Snapshots). If you find the snapshot folder, look for the most recent .WF1 file in there.

Thanks very much. Using the back up file worked.
I have been using eviews for more than a decade and had no idea thats what the other file was.
Much appreciated.
