Choosing intervals: test of equality by medians

Postby Thomaaatke » Tue May 02, 2017 5:48 am

Hi Everyone!

I try to make 4 intervals for my variable "marktaandeel" (marketshare in dutch) when doing a test of equality bij means. Whenever i try to change '# of values >' or 'Avg. count <' or 'Max # of bins' it doesn't matter i'm not able to choose 4 intervals. I can select 2 or 6 or more intervals but not 4.

Any idea's on how i can solve this problem?

Thanks in advance!

Use the Generate by classification proc to make a custom interval classifying variable, then use that variable in your test of equality by.
