Hi there,
I am new to Eviews and have currently been using EViews 7. I am using data from the DHS surveys which contains a series which is the sampling weight. I just wanted to know how to apply that weight to any descriptive statistics produced and regressions run? I am really sorry if this sounds silly and simple. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ash

Re: Sampling Weight
Sampling weights usually act as an inverse variance weighting. You can input such weights from the "Options" tab of the equation editor.
Re: Sampling Weight
Hi,
I'm really sorry, but I'm having another issue with sampling weights. I am running a logit regression on some survey data and unlike the OLS regression, there is no option to include the sampling weight in the 'Options' tab of the Equation Editor. I was wondering how to get around this problem? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Ash
