Creating a Program for File Importing

I am trying to create a program that would allow us to streamline our importing of files to our databases. Essentially, we import data into our workfiles by clicking proc -> import -> import from file... and we are always having to go through the same steps each time. Does anyone know of a way that we could generate a program that would run those commands for us?
