Ramsey RESET test and multicollinearity test for panel data

Postby davidn » Sat Jun 06, 2009 9:41 am

Hi,
I wonder how to do a Ramsey RESET test and multicollinearity test for panel data in Eviews 5.

Thanks
David

I don't think EViews 5 has any multicollinearity tests built-in. Out of curiousity, why do you want to test for multicollinearity?

I agree. I don't believe that EViews 5 has levitra online any multicollinearity tests built-in either.

Running the auxiliary regression used in the RESET test shouldn't be particularly difficult for simple panel models. then doing the test is easy. It gets trickier when you have GLS specs. What types of models are you running?
