Postby ernestcheung » Tue Mar 30, 2010 9:56 pm

Hi

It is possible to conduct principal component analysis using EVIEWs 5.1? If so, how is this done?

Create a group object with the series of interest, and select View/Principal Components... from the group menu.

I'm not certain what you mean by "saving or making". The Proc/Make... routine will save the components in the workfile.
