Near singular matrix Ordered probit model

I'm trying to make an ordered probit model and getting that problem.
I have 89 observations and 17 regressors.

No, what exactly do you do to estimate the equation that generates the error? We can't help if we don't know exactly what you're trying to do.

In a group click to "procs" - Make equation, then choose Ordered Method (Normal)

You don't have enough observations. After dropping NAs, you only have 28 observations left.
