How to sort and select data while preserving the date

I would like to sort a time series and extract the 5% and 95% percentile of the observations while I keep the corresponding date (in a date format not the equivalent number)
After using @capplyranks I got a matrix where the first column is the numeric value of the date and the second column is the series. I want to transform the numeric value in first column into a date format at the same time I keep the series in the 2nd column.
Any idea how to proceed?
