copying from different folders

Postby jsemeano » Fri Jun 15, 2018 8:07 am

Dear all,

Is there a way to copy from different folders while using variables?

I am trying the code

for %typ ltn_10y ltn_5y stn_12m stn_3m
Copy {%drivers_dir}\{%wfname_yield_comp}::YieldQ\__overal_chart_{%typ} {%checks_dir}\{%wfname_report}::report\yield_comp_{%typ}

next

where {%drivers_dir}, {%wfname_yield_comp}, {%checks_dir} and {%wfname_report} have been defined previously. The line boils down to:

COPY D:\OUTPUT\COMP\DRIVERS\COMPARE_YIELDS_ESTIM_2_CMT_G18.WF1::YIELDQ\__OVERAL_CHART_LTN_10Y D:\OUTPUT\CHECKS\REPORT_G18_NCB2.WF1::REPORT\YIELD_COMP_LTN_10Y

All the files and objects exist. Nevertheless, if I set the current directory to D:\OUTPUT\COMP\DRIVERS it will say it can't access the file in D:\OUTPUT\CHECKS and vice-versa. Catch 22.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you very much,
João

i see the solution is to open both files and then set cd in the receiving file directory. Obviously...

Best,
João
