delete an observation from series and shift

Hi..
I want to delete an observation from series and shift up all data after the deleted observation ..
what is the command or program any do this deletion ?

Hello,
Let me try to clarify what you're after. Do you want to remove an observation (which will affect all series on that workfile page) or just move data within a series (leaving other series on the page unmodified)?

thnx for reply,
yes the second choice, but the modify on selected series and don't affect on ID date only remove the observation and replace it with next obs.

i used the command : X=X(-1) and removed the last obs and added NA on first .so, i used the X=X(+1) and getting a result which i required.
