Datelabel

Postby stefanp » Tue May 30, 2017 9:23 am

I use a panel data set. I would like to graph the time series of a variable as simple line chart. No problem so far, simply using the smpl command. However, on the x-axis, I would like to use the date of the observation. Instead, I always end up with the complete identifier, i.e. some string and the date.

Addressing this issue with the datelabel format command doesn't change anything. The only thing that I am able to alter is the interval.

Don't think there is a way around that. You could change the graph so that rather than stacking panels, it does individual panels, but you'll still get a erroneous title.
