Limitation to Iteration?

Postby fmgoto » Thu Jul 23, 2009 2:23 pm

Are there limitations to the number of iterations Eviews runs before haulting?

Eviews simply stops working for some erason I dont know. I suspect, for example, that tables do not support more than one million rows. Is that so?

Are there other restrictions?

Thank You, Fabio

You can set an iteration limit under the options for a particular estimate or the global options. I believe the default is 500.

I don't believe there are any limits.

If EViews is crashing, you should probably email us at support@eviews.com, along with the program and workfile.
