Very glad if somebody can give me help
Is there any difference in Eviews for pool estimation and panel estimation?
Since my data set is combined time series and cross section. Like 50 states and 10 years
I am not sure which estimation to use. Thanks
Pool or Panel?

Re: Pool or Panel?
As a general rule, Pool is best if you have a very small number of cross-sections (say less than 5). Other than that I'd go with a panel every time.
The one exception is if you want to have cross-section specific coefficients on your regressors. Panels, currently, do not have this feature built in.
Panels also do not let you perform cross-section correlation or covariance analysis (outside of estimation) particularly easily.
