Data panel with 2 cross-section series

Postby javi97ag » Mon May 13, 2019 2:42 pm

Hi, I have a dated panel with 2 cross-section series (exper and immigrants), but eViews doesn't allow me to use the fixed effects model when estimating...

This is an overview of the data I'm working with.

When I try to run the estimation, the "Panel Options" tab doesn't appear, and I don't know why since I loaded the data as a dated panel with two ID.

Could anyone help me to run the fixed-effects model with this data?

If not, is there any other way to run a model where there is interaction between "exper", "immigrants" and "year" (time).

Thank you

EViews only allows fixed effects estimation with 2D panels.

You could always create the dummies yourself using @expand.
