Hi all,
I am newbie in eviews and I need your help ..
I have the following data saved in a alcohol.xls file.

I want as first step to find the regression equation and check
if the alcohol consumption is affected by the income, the education category and the age.

I have imported the data, click Quick > Estimate equation
and write as equation specification : alcohol c income educ_category age

Is it right or should I split somehow the educ_category ?


And secondly I want to find if the alcohol consumption affected by the gender
and how much is the consumption for males (gender=1) ?
