equations with delta

Postby beacks » Sat Jan 13, 2018 3:43 pm

Hello everyone, I am quite new using Eviews, so apologise me if my question is too simple. :D I`ve got 3 equations

Y=γ0+γ1X1+v

Y=β0+β1X1+β4X4+β6X6+u

Y=δ0+δ4X4+δ5X5+δ6X6+w

I did the first two by using equation estimation and writing the names of the variables I want and the constant. The information I aread about the delta confuses me. Should I put or do anything different in the equation in order to convert the delta? And what about the "w"

Thanks in advance.

Assuming that deltas are coefficients and w is the error term, you estimate it in the same way as the others.
