Help with ARIMA Fissues

Postby omo_laws » Thu Nov 30, 2017 7:50 am

Hello community,

I use eviews 9. I have been trying to an automatic ARIMA forecasting from proc without any success. Each time I run it, this error message appears ''Number of forecast periods extends outside workfile range''. Thus, I can't get the forecast graph for the future periods.

My data frequency is daily, ranging from January 2007 to September 2017. Please see the attached!

Please help me.

Thank you

Increase the range of your workfile (Double click the “Range” word at the top of the workfile)

Hello Gareth,

Thank you for your quick response.

I have been looking for this ''Range'' word, not sure why I could not find it.

Please find attached the options on my workfile. Please where can I get this ''Range''?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards

Many thanks Gareth. Issues resolved.

However, my prediction seems weak. I will share this later.

Many thanks again!
