Statistical Significance Tests

Postby tr3g08 » Mon Nov 02, 2009 4:27 am

Hi,

I am a student just starting to learn how to use EViews. I have been asked for an assignment to conduct a one-tail test to test the statistical significance of the estimated slope of a relationship at the 5% level. However, I do not understand how to do this. Would anyone please be able to give me some simple advice, bearing in mind I am just starting out with EViews?! Many thanks.

That is already given in the output generated after the estimation of your equation. You should read the introductory chapters of the User Guide and/or Eviews Illustrated.
