I'm trying to do the coefficient correlation matrix for a panel data set however the results i keep getting are for the countries instead of the variables. My data is unstacked because when i stack them i do not know how to identify the cross section identifiers. Thank you

I believe you're going to have to stack your workfile as a panel. Assuming you already have a unstacked/pooled workfile, this should be relatively simple, following the first post in this guide:
