You need to run it in an EViews program (File->New Program)

hello
my data is in panel format and i wanted to filtered them with hp filter. then i entered them in eviwes in undated format (not panel foemat), in this way eviwes allowed me to use hp filter. and once again i use hp filter one by one for each country sepratly in dated format(not panel fomat). the problem is that, the outcomes are different in this two way, which of these ways are reliable????
thanks for your accountability

If you bring it in as undated, EViews won't know where one cross-sections ends and the next begins. As such it will use information in one cross-section when computing the filter for another.
