Hello,
For some series in Haver, I am successfully able to fetch using Eviews. For example, this code works fine:
hfetch(R:\weekly) ffedtar
However, one variable in particular (Haver mnemonic LIC@Weekly) causes Eviews to display an error message, stating that it has encountered and error and must shut down. The code that generates this is:
hfetch(R:\weekly) lic
The following info is provided with the initial error message:
Error signature
AppName: eviews6.exe
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180
AppVer: 5.0.0.1
Offset: 00010f29
ModName: ntdll.dll
And the error message also provides a link that displays even more (much much more) error output, a sample of which is this:
Exception Information
Code: 0xc0000005
Record: 0x0000000000000000000
Flags: 0x000000000000
Address: 0x000000000007c910f29
... Any ideas?

How could I tell if it is up to date? The Help menu "About" dialog box says that I have Eviews 6, enterprise edition, April 27 2007 build...
