Hi,
I've imported a .xls table into eViews with the date in column A and multiple series' in columns B-M. eViews is taking the DATE data in column A and creating a separate series; further, the observations in my analysis (sample selections, graphs, tables, etc.) displays numbers 1 - 465 instead of Jan 31, 1970 - Aug 31, 2008. How can I update the ID on each observation to be the corresponding dates not numerical values?
Thanks,
NC

Re: Excel Import: Date Issues
You need to restructure your workfile so that it has the correct format. You can do this by clicking on Proc->Structure/resize current page.
You probably want "Dated - Specified by Date Series".
