Why the "pagestack" doesn't work for me

Dear all,

I have a workfile with panel data. The original structure of the workfile likes a "pool", i.e. US_GDP, UK_GDP etc.

Hence I followed the threads: How to enter data into a panel workfile (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=74), which written by Gareth.

However, the "pagestack" doesn't work in my workfile. I use the EViews10. When I use the example post by Gareth in his threads, it works. I am really confused!

I add my workfile as the attachment. The page "data" is the original data that I want to stack. The page "data_STK" is the page generated by the "pagestack" command.

Dear Gareth, thx so much for your reply.

I make it through reading the manual of the EViews. You code is good too.

However, I think your code in Box 1 should be "?GDP" rather than "*GDP".

Nevermind, I know what you mean anyway.
