D is an illegal workfile page name

I have old workfiles that have daily workfile pages named "D" but when I try to create a new workfile with a page named "D", it says, "D is an illegal workfile page name". Is this a new restriction?

Should I rename the daily pages in my old workfiles?

I don't believe there is such a restriction - I just created a page called "d" (three times with three different ways of creating a page).

How did you create the page / name the page to receive the error (and what version/build date of EViews -> Help->About EViews)?

Continued...
I am having trouble with all of my workfiles with a D tab. When I open them, I get an error message and it opens it as untitled. Then all programs that use that workfile fail because the named workfile that it is looking for is not open. Sometimes, it creates a tab called "Day". This is causing everything to break. What is going on?

I have been opening the ~F1 backup files, renaming the D tab to D7 and fixing the code that breaks as a result of the name change. I hope that works and the backup workfile is still okay.

I tried in a program
pagecreate(page=D) D7 1/1/2018 12/31/2020
and I tried to do it manually (Click on New Page etc...)

I am running Eviews 10+, Standard Edition - Apr 15 2019 build

Ah. "d" is ok. "D" is not. I believe that has always been the case.

Okay. I see now that "d" works but "D" does not. Thanks for looking into this for me.

I guess the problem I am having loading old workfiles is unrelated. A started a different post about that.
