Like to know how to output a matrix or a table to an excel file in 2010 format (xlsx).

You can pull a matrix or table into Excel using our Excel add-in. Then you can simply refresh the data from within Excel whenever you want to check for updates.

May I ask how I could install the "Eviews add-in"? Thanks.

The add-in is usually installed along with EViews. If you think you already have it, run EViews and run the REGCOMPONENTS command and then scroll the list down to the last item "Excel 2010 Add In". It should say "Installed" next to it. If it doesn't, click the "Yes (All)" button to tell EViews to re-register everything.

Once re-registered, restart Excel and see if you can see the EViews add-in group in the AddIns ribbon.
