I have a number of time series variables of the following shape (which I've fetched from macrobond):
PCTY15_74total_atra
2016Q1 67.3973949207206
2016Q2 67.618426882372
2016Q3 67.8003137246444
2016Q4 67.8052517789873
2017Q1 67.7539846408431
Each time-series contains data for one country. I want to generate a new series (in a new page) which contains the ultimate observation of each series. So the new series would look something like this:
var2017Q1
PCTY15_74TOTALATRA 64.5
PCTY15_74TOTALBERA 59.8
PCTY15_74TOTALBGRA 57
PCTY15_74TOTALCYRA 67.7
PCTY15_74TOTALCZRA 63.6
PCTY15_74TOTALDKRA 72.5
PCTY15_74TOTALEERA 66.2
PCTY15_74TOTALELRA 58.5
PCTY15_74TOTALESRA 63.9
PCTY15_74TOTALDERA 65.1
Is this possible to do? Preferable by way of programming, since this is part of a program I'm writing.
Thanks in advance!

Probably the easiest thing to do would be to use pagestack to convert your current pool structure into a new panel page, then pagecontract to lop off all the time series elements apart from the last.
