Dear all,
I have used the eviews add in for excel to connect a database to excel.
I would like to use the same excel file to read from different eviews databases that have the same structure. For this, the easiest way would be to edit the connection to the eviews database simply by changing the path in excel. Is this possible?
Thank you very much,
João

Re: Editing Eviews db link in excel
This is more of an Excel question than an EViews question.
When you use our add-in to import data into Excel, the connection that is made is using our ODBC driver. So your question is really how to edit ODBC connected data in an Excel spreadsheet.
Here's a page I found on Google.
Once you can get to the ODBC connection string for our driver, you can easily see where to edit the file to change the path.
