Hi,
I have a panel data set (age and year).
But some series in the panel (e.g. Average Income) are derived from a distribution. So I have another distribution (age and level). It does not vary by time.
In addition, there are some series that vary only by year (e.g. Income Growth).
[Attached XLS shows these 3 template sheets.]
I have imported the data in 3 different pages. But how do I perform calculations using series from different pages -
1. Can I refer to a series from one page without copying? If yes, how to refer to a i,t data of a series on a page?
for !year = 1 to 78
for !age = 1 to 52
for !level = 1 to 79
????
next
next
next
2. If not, do I have create a page with year, (age*level) as category? That will increase the sample size unnecessarily (even though levels don't change by year).
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

You can use pagename\series name to refer to a series on another page. But you're probably better off copying them over so you know exactly what is going on.
