Hi Jason,
again on CEIC. I upgraded their CDM navigator (build SetupCDM_x86(2.7.0.17)) and am no longer able to use the Query select command within Eviews 9.5.
The fetch command still works, but cannot select series within the navigator.
The error I get is "Database Error: unable to initialise CEIC CoCreate library"
Any suggestions, should I update eviews (eviews 32 bit, Sep 2016 build)?

Updating wouldn't hurt but I doubt it will fix the problem.
There error implies you are either missing the files or the files havent been registered.
If I remember correctly, the files used by EViews were independent of their desktop app and required a separate installer. This may have changed but ask them if this is still true. I will also confirm with my contacts and report back here as well.

It was just confirmed that the CEIC interface for EViews is still an independent download.
