ASCII Text Import

I am using EViews 9.5, and realize Read function under Import menu is no longer available. Is there a easy way to import the raw data from one file (say, WAGE1.raw), with the variable labels defined in another file (say, WAGE1.des)? For EViews 8 or older, the Read function provides a nice ASCII Text Import dialog which allows me to copy the variable labels from WAGE1.des, and then paste into the column of Name for series to import the data with the variable labels. For EViews 9, I would have to organize the data with the labels in Excel in advance, then open or import it with EViews.
