Returning the last available observation in the workfile

Returning the last available observation in the workfile

Hello all!

Does anyone know how can I get, with '@' function, the last observation available in the workfile (not in the sample)?

For instance, to a series:

Jan 10
Feb 23
Mar 14
Abr 12
May 38
June NA
July NA
...
Dec NA

Returns 38? I'd think I could find an answer easily, but I couldn't. I need this to input in an auto-update series. Tks in advance, Fabio.
