Graphing Options

Hello

I'm fairly new to using Eviews and I'm currently having a little bit of trouble instructing the program on the various attributes I want my graphs to have by coding rather than the point and click option.

for example

1. I would like to graph (line) my data from the earliest available date even though the workfile's date range goes back much further ... currently i'm using (for example) smpl @first 1995 but since my workfile date range is from 1960 to 2005 the graph is outputed from 1960 to 1995 :O( ... however, since some series doesn't have any data (only NA) from 1960 to 1975 the graph has white space on the left hand side.

2. i would like to place a label at the top of my Y axis ... % for example or bps etc...

3. i have a left and right axis, can i have different scales on each?

4. how can I add some space at the end of a ploted series so that they last obseration is not on the y-axis (right hand side)

5. plot the fitted values of a regression (i know how to calculate a regression)

6. how can i choose my own scale for the Y (or X) axis (It seems there is an option to do this via the point and click method in Eviews) and furthermore, how can I instruct the program to place ticks only at those values.

I'm using Version 7 of Eviews

i was able to find out how to modify the scale for the x axis via the .datelabel interval(year, #) command

and i've added the extra space on the right hand side of any graph by just making the sample a little larger than the data ~ (not sure if there's a better way)

if any one one has any idea about the other little questions above - please let me know
