BVAR SEs not computed

Postby batotai » Wed Feb 20, 2013 3:36 am

Hello,

My code is bugging with certain parameters settings but I fail to see the reason ? The error message is "Note that some SEs have not been computed", which I don't get as the estimation is going all right at t-1 but not at t ? See below...

Thanks for your advices !

You're probably better off using the EViews 8 beta and the build-in BVAR options.

Ahah yes I suppose but as for now my organisation doesn't have it available, and as it seems the estimation is done properly (forecasts get computed even with those missing SEs), I wonder if there's not a way to skip the "Note" message that stops the program ? It doesn't work with the error number setting, as it's not considered as an error by Eviews apparently...

You'll have to look at the BVAR source code and simply remove the line that puts up that message.
