Windows Server 2012 R2 as a License Server

My organization is migrating our servers infrastructure to blades running MS Win Server 2012 R2.
Is it possible to run the License Server in a server running Micrososft Windows Server 2012 R2?
Is there any restriction or customisation required in Windows Server v2012 R2?
