### AIRLINE PASSENGER-FORECASTING

Hello,

i was wondering if someone here could help me. I'm about to forecast future development of passengers on a flight.

I have passenger data from earlier year 2000-2016 and im about to forecast the passengers numbers in the next years (about 5 years)

What is the best way to do that..

Thank you very much for your answer. I need to make a forecasting of passenger between 2000-2016 to allocate a right aircraft for my thesis in airline finance. Thanks!

And do you have just 16 numbers on the number of passengers?

But why not just google "airplane passenger projections?"

Basically, you have to decide what the equation is that explains the number of passengers. Then you create an equation in EViews and estimate it. Then you push the forecast button.

The EViews website has a tutorial on forecasting and EViews Illustrated includes a chapter on the subject. You might want to start with those.
