Tool for (dummy-)user friendly model forecasts from Eviews M

Hi colleagues,

I have an Eviews model that forecasts the economic effects of some investment decisions. I want to handle this model to persons that are not familiar with the kind of software eviews represents. Further more I do not want that they can manipulate the Eviews model.

Is there a software or a tool that takes the final Eviews model and allows the user to manipulate the time series only. Then a "solve" button is hit by the user and he can see the forecasts in tables? Or can I setup Eviews in a way that the user can not do anything except these basic manipulations?

Thanks for any comments,

Johannes

One obvious thing you could do is write an EViews program that sets up and solves your model, then just give the user your EViews program and tell them to run it. You could even encrypt the program so that they cannot edit it, or see what is in it.
