Specifying a model using a wildcard

Postby neilblake » Thu Oct 29, 2009 10:36 am

Is there an easy way to create a model which contains every equation in a workfile or, alternatively, a model that contains every equation with a name that starts with the same letter or string of letters?

In EViews 7 you could create a wordlist (using wlookup) containing every equation in your workfile, then loop through those equations adding them to the model one by one.

In EViews 6 I cannot think of way to do it.

Is there any documentation on how to use WLOOKUP in Eviews 7?

Yep. If you open up the Beta documentation PDF from the help menu and then do a search for wlookup, you should find it.
