Add Factors

Postby Dominator » Tue Aug 11, 2015 8:28 am

I am trying to use add factors in order to have my model solve correctly for history but doesn't seem to be working. The add factors are created but the sum of the solved value and the add factor for a given time period does not equal the actual historical value for that period. Can you provide any suggestions?

How did you create the add-factors?

I used the drop down option from the models follows:

1) Proc/Add Factors/Add Factor Assignment/All Stochastic Equations/Equation Intercept (Residual Shift) and then

2) Proc/Add Factors/set Add Factors so all equations have no residual at actives\smpl @all/applying to all baseline factors

Unfortunately not. It contains proprietary information

Well without knowing more information, or seeing the model it is hard to say.

In general, doing what you are doing will not work - you'd want to set the AFs such that there is no residual at Actual, not at Active.
