Win7 x64 Installation Problem
I am migrating all of my software to a new workstation running Win7 x64. I am having trouble migrating Eviews 7. The install seems to run fine and claims to have installed Eviews successfully but when I try to run Eviews, the application pops up momentarily but then diappears; I never get to the registration dialogs. I know Eviews runs on Win 7 x64 beacuse I have it installed on on my current workstation (also Win7 x64) and it runs just fine. The new workstation has dual Xeon processors and solid state hard disk....are there any compatibility problems? Any help or advice will be appreciated!

Re: Win7 x64 Installation Problem
I applied the 7.2 Upgrade patch and this seems to have done the trick!
Re: Win7 x64 Installation Problem
Any information why 7.1 runs on on older Win 7 x64 platform but a newer Win7 x64 platform requires 7.2? Just curious....
