Configuring Proxy Server EViews 7 / Win XP

I just installed EViews 7, however it does not seem able to connect to the internet. So now I am trying to configure my "Network proxy server" under the "General Options" of EViews 7, but I don't know what to enter into the Server, User, and Password fields. I am running Windows XP behind a corporate firewall. So far I have tried the following three approaches:
1) Clicked the "Auto detect from IE" button. Result is a "No proxy server was detected" message from EViews.
2) Looked for my proxy settings in IE 7 (Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings). "Automatically detect settings and "Use automatic configuration script" are both checked. "Proxy server" is not checked. I tried pasting the configuration script url into the Server field in EViews, which resulted in "Could not reach registration server" message when I click the "Test Internet Access" button.
3) Looked for my proxy settings in Firefox 3.6.10 (Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Network -> Connection -> Settings). The "Use system proxy settings" button is selected, so that wasn't much help.
Can anyone help? Thanks.
