I installed EViews 9.5 Student Version on my Macbook which runs with OS Sierra 10.12 and on the first day it worked normal.
Two days later when I tried to start it, only the icon shows up on the right down side and after around 5 sec the EViews closes.
What can I do to run it correctly?

Try reinstalling the application.

Try dragging your EViews 9 SV folder located in your Applications folder to the Trash.
Next empty your Trash.
Then try reinstalling again using the latest version of the installer. The download link can be found in your original purchase email containing your serial number.

After deleting and reinstalling a few times, it now works again.
