Once I get the email with the link and installed the program, try opening tells me ev_base.dll missing on the PC, you try reinstalling eviews, and I found that if it is a component that has been installed by the program. Why is this happening? My operating system is Windows 7 and I downloaded the Windows version. Please help!

In the directory where EViews is installed (normally c:\program files\EViews 9sv). There should 48 items (files and folders). Are you seeing the same thing?

If not, I would uninstall and reinstall again.
