the directory does not contain existing copy of EViews

Hi,

I'm currently running EViews 9 64-bit, and due to its crashes from time to time, I decided to update by running the patch EViews9Patch_x64. However, I get the following message
the directory you have selected does not contain existing copy of EViews
.

My Eviews executables are contained in C:\Program Files\EViews 9\ and that's where I tell the InstallShield Wizard where to install. So, I'm not sure why it can't find what it needs in that directory.

Please advise.

Using Windows Explorer, send a screenshot of your C:\Program Files\EViews 9 directory to support@eviews.com and reference this thread.
