Issue with Registration

Hello! I am getting this message when trying to register Eviews


Machine registration verified:
This machine was already registered at IHS.
Currently 1 machine is registered to SN# L9010775.



I have 2 machines, one is a laptop, that is dying where I needed Eviews quickly for a one time visual demonstration, and the other is my pc where I would be using Eviews much more often. I tried to register the PC too, but I get the error message posted above, even with a second requested registration key. Can I not have Eviews for different machines? Or is there an older registration on this pc when I used Eviews a LONG time ago?

well when I want to save it says its not and that I cannot save, because its too big for lite. if I press upgrade I get that error message

ok, could you start from the beginning, outline which versions of EViews you have had installed, and what you're trying to do etc...?

got eviews student lite on my pc. had an eviews long time ago (think 7...) that was a trial or something, dont really remember. now I donwloaded the student lite 9 version and it won't allow me to save. it requests I upgrade to student, I can't do that though since it requires a registration. The registration, with the code given, will yield the message I posted in my first comment

Not sure what is going on with the the messages you are receiving. They don't make sense based on what you are doing.

In any case, EViews lite serial numbers can only be installed on 1 machine. If you wish to transfer the license to your PC you will have to contact register@eviews.com along with your serial number and indicate you wish to transfer your license. Note: this will disable your laptop copy.

Or you could obtain a second Lite serial number and use that on your PC.

well, this is what I did, I used all the same info except a second email for my PC, but it hasn't changed anything.

Ok, it's becoming clearer as to what is happening.

After you get
Machine registration verified:

You press ok. Correct?
